Nearing The End

Hello my friends,

As we near the end of our tour in Japan, I wanted to share some of the great adventures we have had thus far. This being our second time touring in this great country, we came with much more confidence and knowledge of what to expect. Everything has lived up too and beyond the expectations that we had for this trip. The bands, crew, and fans have been nothing short of amazing, and we cant thank everyone enough who has helped put this tour together.

I wanted to let everyone know that I might have a heart attack while writing this blog, due to the massive sodium intake I have had this past week. It seems that everything in Japan is LOADED with salt. From what I hear, this is bad for people with high blood pressure, like me. Every morning I wake up with cotton mouth from the entire bowl of salt water ramen, or the fantastic yaki-soba dish I consumed the night before. This may come as a shock too many, but I love condiments. I douse pretty much everything I eat with sesame oil, soy sauce, spicy salt, teriyaki, and whatever other random salt products that they have sitting on the table. This could be why my heart is on the brink of explosions, but Professor Boyavich told me I would be ok....Wooo hooo!

Last nights show in Nagoya was the best crowd we have played for in a long time. It was a smaller room, but the energy of all the people made it feel like we were playing for 10,000. Fans were screaming, jumping, and even crowd surfing. Whenever I see a crowd surfer while playing I have a giggle a little bit. You do not see it to often at pop rock concerts, but when it happens, it almost seems magical. Nothing like seeing a guy kicking other peoples face in during some of our biggest rocks anthems like; Motivation, Rush Together, I Lie Awake, and Starbright. So kudos to you Japanese fans, you know how to rock to just about anything!

I am bummed that our last show is tonight. The time here has flown by much faster than I thought it would. It is always tough being on tour for only a week and a half. Right when you start to get to know all the other people on tour, you have to say your goodbyes and hope to meet up in the future. Most of us will go home and become friends on Xbox live, Farmville, or Battlenet. These mediums of communication are all we have at home, so as we say our farewells at the airport, we must all exchange gamer tags.

Thank you Japan! You have been great to us once again, and we cannot wait to come back!

Could it get any better?

I absolutely love this blog. =-)

It sucks you guys didn't get to stay long, but just having this opportunity must be amazing. I know that one of these days, everyone will see how great you are!!! I know that the fans you have now love you, and with our hard work we will spread your music as far as we can.

As upsetting as it must be to leave Japan (again), we all know you will be back there soon. I think you guys love it there as much as they love having you there. =-)

Safe travels on your way home. I can't wait to see some videos of the shenanigans you guys took part in.

Love, B
